Description

You will bridge business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver reinsurance system enhancements and business-as-usual improvements. You own the translation of requirements into functional specifications and ensure end-to-end delivery quality.

Responsibilities

• Gather and refine business requirements, translating them into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Lead solution design for reinsurance processes, system enhancements, and BAU items.
• Perform data validation, mapping, and root-cause analysis for premium and claims movements using SQL.
• Prepare process documents, workflows, and functional artifacts; facilitate requirement walkthroughs.
• Coordinate SIT/UAT cycles to ensure quality delivery and traceability from requirements to test results.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst.
• Proven experience in reinsurance business processes, including ceded reinsurance, treaty, and facultative coverage.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Experience with reinsurance accounting and bordereaux.
• Ability to create BRDs, FSDs, and manage requirements gathering.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum ceremonies and backlog management.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder management across business, IT, and leadership.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring junior team members and supporting knowledge transfer.
