Description

You will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood, documented, and implemented correctly.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document business requirements using JAD sessions, interviews, and shadowing to produce user stories and detailed acceptance criteria.
• Partner with technical leads and engineers to translate business needs into technical specifications and logical system designs.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of enhancements and defects, from initial build vs. buy analysis to UAT planning and execution.
• Perform triage and problem-solving for urgent production break-fix resolutions.
• Mentor junior team members to help them develop their business analysis skillsets.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience writing clear, measurable user stories with detailed acceptance criteria.
• 5+ years of experience creating and maintaining documentation for business processes and system functionality.
• Proficiency in SQL queries for data assessment and mapping.
• Strong knowledge of client/server application concepts and web application concepts.
• Proven experience with SDLC processes.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Applications, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Ability to facilitate meetings, manage shifting priorities, and resolve stakeholder conflicts.
• Experience performing cost/benefit analysis for new project efforts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with HR systems and eCommerce implementations.
