You will analyze, model, and integrate data systems within an agile environment, ensuring data quality and supporting legacy migrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform current state analysis through reverse engineering and identify source and downstream systems.
• Capture data lineage, create source-to-target (STTM) mappings, and validate data quality.
• Write complex SQL queries and build data quality checks for analytics and warehousing.
• Conduct feasibility analysis, project scoping, and provide accurate work estimates.
• Develop requirements through elicitation, specification, and validation using Jira and Confluence.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience in data analytics or data integration.
• Hands-on experience with conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and data wrangling.
• Experience with legacy applications (Mainframe, on-prem) and COTS migration.
• Knowledge of data security classifications and Risk Assessment (TRMIS) guidelines.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket for project management.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and technical documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Databricks and one or more of: Azure Data Factory, Python/PySpark, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Experience with SAS or other legacy data processing tools.
