Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to cloud financial management and cost optimization initiatives.
• Analyze cloud spend, billing, and usage data across Azure and AWS platforms.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for cloud infrastructure investments.
• Create and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and executive reports using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Leadership teams to improve cloud cost visibility and accountability.
• Monitor cloud spending trends, identify anomalies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support chargeback/showback models, cost allocation processes, and tagging governance initiatives.
• Document business processes, requirements, workflows, and optimization recommendations.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, requirements workshops, and cross-functional discussions.
• Assist in tracking Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and other cloud cost optimization strategies.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of overall experience with at least 5 years as a Business Analyst supporting FinOps, Cloud Financial Management, Technology Finance, or related initiatives.
• Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into actionable solutions.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Power BI
  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Advanced Excel
  • Azure Cost Management
  • AWS Cost Explorer
  • CloudHealth
• Experience working with large datasets and performing financial and operational analysis.
• Strong understanding of cloud cost management concepts and cloud billing structures.
• Excellent communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and business analysis best practices
