Description

Own the analysis of cloud financial management and cost optimization initiatives across Azure and AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cloud spend, billing, and usage data to identify anomalies and recommend corrective actions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for cloud infrastructure investments.
• Create and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and executive reports using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Document business requirements, workflows, and optimization recommendations for finance and engineering teams.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and cross-functional discussions to improve cloud cost visibility and accountability.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of overall experience with at least 5 years as a Business Analyst supporting FinOps, Cloud Financial Management, or Technology Finance.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric for data visualization and reporting.
• Proficiency in Azure Cost Management, AWS Cost Explorer, and CloudHealth.
• Strong command of Advanced Excel for large dataset analysis and financial modeling.
• Deep understanding of chargeback/showback models, cost allocation methodologies, and tagging governance.
• Experience with Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and unit economics.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions.

Preferred Skills

• FinOps Foundation Practitioner Certification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting enterprise-level cloud cost optimization programs in multi-cloud environments.
