Description

Reverse engineer existing systems, document technical specifications, and prepare recommendations for application enhancements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer the Water Use Survey application, database, and business processes to create technical documentation.
• Develop detailed design documents including data table maps, diagrams, data dictionaries, and data flow specifications.
• Document user cases, data validation rules, and operational logic for every application screen.
• Identify data gaps and propose solution options with risk identification and financial analyses such as ROI.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience analyzing technical information, automation system documentation, and specifications.
• 8+ years of experience developing technical documentation for system design and business processes.
• 8+ years of experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management principles.
• 8+ years of experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps for application planning and delivery.
• 8+ years of experience with MS SQL database management and SQL coding.
• 8+ years of experience writing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services or Power BI.
• 8+ years of experience using Microsoft Visio for diagramming and business process mapping.
• 8+ years of experience using design tools like Balsamiq or Adobe XD for application mockups.
