Description

You will design and implement core features, cloud-centric capabilities, and connectors for a Postgres-based database product on Linux.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop core database features and fix defects for the Postgres-based product.
• Design and implement cloud-centric features such as data lake ingestion and extended data type support.
• Write connectors for various database products.
• Drive architecture decisions for C++ database solutions on Linux.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on development and defect fixing experience.
• Strong expertise in C++ and C/C++ architecture.
• Proficient with Linux environment and skills.
• Deep knowledge of database products including Postgres, Oracle, Netezza, or DB2.
• Experience designing cloud-centric database features.
• Ability to write complex connectors for database systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data lake integration patterns.
