Description

You will lead the development, maintenance, and support of complex C++ and Java applications on UNIX/Linux and Solaris platforms. You are responsible for owning the software development lifecycle, providing root cause analysis for Tier 1/2 support, and ensuring application vulnerability and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers on Unix infrastructure and manage the full software development lifecycle.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide code changes to assist Tier 1/2 support teams.
• Ensure vulnerability and compliance standards for application software.
• Manage and troubleshoot web and application servers including Apache, NGINX, Tomcat, and JBoss.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with C, C++, and Pro*C.
• Strong proficiency in Java and webservices development.
• Deep knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Solaris platforms.
• Experience with Oracle DB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL programming, connection pools, and stored procedures.
• Hands-on scripting skills in TCL, Python, Perl, or Unix Shell.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, firewalls, load balancers, and diagnostic tools (tcpdump, netstat, ss).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Jira, SVN, and Gitlab.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Telecom or Networking domain.
• Knowledge of application servers such as Weblogic.
