Description

You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications using C++.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable backend systems and optimize code for performance, memory, and concurrency.
• Debug and resolve production issues while participating in code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and QA teams.
• Apply best engineering practices to maintain system reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in C++ backend development.
• Strong knowledge of OOP concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and memory management.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of backend architecture and system design.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with high-performance/low-latency systems and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, gRPC, and build systems like CMake or Make.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
