Description

You will design and develop C++ components to extract data from Mainframe DB2 databases and convert it to XML format for downstream processing.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop C/C++ components following project guidelines.
• Perform unit and development level integration testing.
• Maintain code based on IBM testing, customer testing, and production issues.
• Document software design and code.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of C++ development.
• 8+ years of SQL development.
• 7+ years of XML and XSLT development.
• 5+ years of DB2 development.
• 4+ years of experience working in a Mainframe environment.
• 4+ years of experience using Microsoft Visual Studio.
• 4+ years of experience with Rational ClearCase/ClearQuest.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with COBOL.
• Experience with Java and JEE development.
• DB2 administrator skills.
