Deploy and support production electronic trading systems in a Linux environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support production electronic trading systems in Linux.
• Troubleshoot production issues and deploy necessary fixes and upgrades.
• Automate operational tasks using Perl, Python, or Bash scripts.
• Develop operational procedures and technical documentation.
• Manage and support virtual infrastructure via VMWare.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert knowledge of the Linux operating system.
• Extensive experience with the FIX protocol.
• Proficiency in C++ and Golang.
• Experience with production support for high frequency trading systems.
• Scripting skills in Perl, Python, or Bash.
• Working knowledge of network tools including SSH, netstat, tcpdump, ping, and traceroute.
• Experience using alerting tools and dashboards such as ServiceNow and JMagic.
• Experience managing virtual infrastructure using VMWare.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with high frequency trading systems.
• Strong background in network troubleshooting.
