Description

You will develop and maintain multi-tiered deal capture systems for interest rate derivatives, credit derivatives, and bonds.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute significant new developments and refactorize code for performance optimization.
• Resolve bugs and write automated unit tests.
• Own tasks independently across all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Participate in a global 3rd line support rota, including remote support.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architecture teams, and production support.

Required Skills

• At least 4 years of application development experience in C++.
• Expertise in C++ programming, including STL and multi-threaded applications and services.
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented programming and Software Engineering principles.
• Proficiency in MFC.
• Strong experience with RDBMS, SQL, and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience working within Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM MQ and TIBCO RV.
• Knowledge of Oracle Coherence.
