Description

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ applications with the Qt framework across desktop and embedded environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive user interfaces using Qt Quick/QML and integrate them with C++ backends via signals/slots and models.
• Implement clean architecture patterns (MVC/MVVM), reusable UI components, and state management for complex screens.
• Optimize application performance, including startup time, UI rendering, and memory usage, while ensuring stability.
• Write unit and automation tests using Qt Test, GoogleTest, and QML test frameworks to ensure code quality.
• Debug production issues, analyze crashes, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive fixes.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in C++ (C++11/14/17) with solid understanding of OOP, STL, memory management, and design patterns.
• Expertise in Qt framework (Qt Core, Qt Widgets, Qt Network, Qt Concurrent) and Qt Creator/CMake/qmake build systems.
• Proven experience in QML/Qt Quick (Layouts, Controls, Animations) and C++-QML integration.
• Good understanding of multi-threading, synchronization, and thread-safe UI updates in Qt.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for builds/tests (Jenkins/GitLab CI/Azure DevOps).
• Strong debugging skills using GDB/LLDB/Visual Studio Debugger, profilers, and performance tools.
• 5+ years of working experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with packaging/deployment for desktop apps (MSI/EXE/AppImage).
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals and Qt networking APIs (HTTP/WebSockets/TCP/UDP).
