You will develop software systems, tools, and interfaces to support high-performance infrastructure in lab and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Design software systems and interfaces to meet technical requirements.
• Build automation and self-serve tools to streamline operations and support processes.
• Develop monitoring mechanisms for gathering metrics, troubleshooting, and debugging managed resources.
• Collaborate with team members to establish software development best practices and operational excellence.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience delivering software in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++, Python, or Java.
• 2-3 years of experience contributing to system design, architecture, design patterns, and scaling.
• Experience building large-scale, high-performance systems in complex, multi-tiered, distributed environments.
• Experience working with AWS or Azure services.
• Knowledge of the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, and build processes.
• Experience developing distributed software systems on Linux or Windows.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Frontend development experience including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, Node.js, and MySQL.
• Experience with Identity and Access Management, specifically Active Directory (AD).
• Knowledge of Perl, SQL, UNIX, or LINUX.
