Description

You will design, develop, and maintain server-side applications for portfolio management and trading systems, ensuring stability and performance of critical production environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust server-side applications using C++ on Solaris.
• Debug and fix existing systems to maintain high availability and performance.
• Optimize Oracle database queries to improve overall software efficiency.
• Support critical production systems and resolve complex technical issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of recent C++ development experience, specifically on Solaris.
• Expert-level knowledge of C++ multi-threading and concurrency.
• Strong proficiency with Boost Libraries.
• Advanced Oracle skills, with a focus on query optimization.
• Solid understanding of data structures, design patterns, and algorithms.
• Experience with shell scripting for automation and system management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with TimesTen Database.
• Knowledge of Java, Python, or Autosys scheduling tools.
