You will develop and maintain Windows operating system components, migrate test code, and ensure system security.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop source code for Windows operating system components and support older versions.
• Migrate existing test code into the new Windows test framework.
• Review and approve modifications to existing databases and database management systems.
• Plan and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files.
• Contribute to cross-version product changes within Windows.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level C/C++ programming, specifically in systems programming.
• Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency with SQL and Visual Basic.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement system changes.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software architectures.
• Expert ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java and Python.
