Description

You will develop, maintain, and optimize high-performance C++ applications, primarily focusing on porting legacy Windows codebases to Linux.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern C++ applications using C++11/14/17+ standards.
• Port legacy Windows C++ codebases to Linux (Ubuntu) and analyze runtime behavior differences.
• Debug complex memory issues, leaks, and core dumps using gdb and heap profiling tools.
• Optimize CPU-intensive components for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Support QA, production stabilization, and AWS/Linux tuning for capacity planning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in C++ development.
• Deep knowledge of modern C++ (C++11/14/17+).
• Proficiency with Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows environments.
• Experience debugging with gdb, heaptrack, or equivalent profiling utilities.
• Familiarity with AWS and Linux system tuning.
• Ability to conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with capacity planning and production stabilization.
• Background in high-performance computing or infrastructure software.
