Description

Design and develop high-performance trading systems software using C++. You will own the full software development life cycle, from assessing requirements to delivering functional specifications and providing production support.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality trading systems software to meet delivery timelines.
• Assess business and systems requirements to create detailed functional specifications.
• Build and maintain subject matter expertise in trading systems functionality.
• Provide second-level production support on an ad hoc basis.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in C++ development.
• 5+ years delivering software in a trading systems environment for an exchange or Wall Street firm.
• Strong C++ knowledge and debugging skills in a Linux environment.
• Experience developing real-time applications in distributed processing architectures.
• Solid knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts and advanced data structures.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP multicast and socket programming.
• Experience with BOOST libraries and STL.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience coding interface solutions for FIX, OPRA, CTA, or UTP.
• Knowledge of scripting languages including Python, Shell, and Perl.
