Description

Develop embedded firmware to control MRI hardware in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop C++ software modules to communicate with MR system hardware components.
• Implement solutions using VxWorks RTOS APIs and direct hardware interaction.
• Set up and utilize Continuous Integration tools for software delivery.
• Define test strategies and execute testing procedures within a regulated environment.
• Create technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Strong proficiency in C++.
• Extensive experience with RTOS, specifically VxWorks.
• Experience developing firmware for hardware control.
• Ability to work within regulated development environments.
• Understanding of computer hardware and software integration.
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools.
• Ability to write design documents and test plans.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with MRI or medical hardware control systems.
