Description

Design and develop low-level software for embedded devices.

Responsibilities

• Architect, prototype, and develop software for embedded systems.
• Implement inter-process communications (IPC) and remote procedure calls (RPC).
• Develop and maintain device drivers and Linux subsystems.
• Manage the C++ build process and optimize system performance.
• Conduct code reviews and implement unit testing for embedded devices.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in embedded software development and architecture.
• Proficiency in C and C++ (including C++11, C++14, or C++17).
• Experience with embedded Linux and BSP.
• Strong knowledge of POSIX-based systems, such as Linux or QNX.
• Experience with multi-threading, algorithms, and memory/performance profiling tools.
• Practical knowledge of client-server, peer-to-peer, and publish/subscribe paradigms.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IP-based protocols: HTTP, TLS, REST, Websockets, JSON, XML, Protobufs, Flatbuffers, RTP, RTSP, or HLS.
