Description

You will design and implement C++ product features and modifications for existing software on Windows, while maintaining technical documentation and driving release management decisions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute unit tests using a test-first mindset for new and existing code.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and software systems and collaborate with Customer Care to resolve released software issues.
• Mentor team members and conduct regular code and test reviews.
• Participate in daily scrum, sprint planning, work estimation, and release management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of C++ experience in a Windows environment with proficiency in Modern C++ standards (C++11 and above).
• 3+ years of Python experience.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with test automation using Cucumber, Behave, or Gherkin.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Google Test or cppUnit.
• Knowledge of networking and TCP/IP socket-level communications.
• Experience producing technical designs for software applications.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Agile development environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java, .NET, or cloud development.
• Knowledge of PCI compliance, secure development, and data encryption.
• Experience with Point of Sale systems, payment processors, or high-availability solutions.
