Description

You will modernize the BADGE application by migrating the flagship desktop product to a new web-based platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own a designated module during the migration from desktop to web application.
• Analyze existing desktop application code to support the migration effort.
• Provide technical guidance to other contractors on assigned modules.
• Develop and implement features using ASP.Net, Web Services, and Web applications in .Net.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems development and design.
• Expert knowledge of C# and .NET Framework technologies.
• Expert proficiency in developing ASP.Net and Web applications.
• Experience with MVC, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and jQuery Unobtrusive Validation.
• Experience working with WinForms or WPF Forms.
• Experience using TFS or GIT for source control.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries against RDBMS.
