Description

You will design, develop, and deliver software solutions while automating BDD scenarios in an agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own complex software problems from initial design through to delivery.
• Implement user stories with automated testing to verify acceptance criteria.
• Design, modify, implement, and document software application changes.
• Provide development-level support for assigned products throughout the lifecycle.
• Mentor others on software engineering standards and best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of recent C++ experience on Windows using Visual C++.
• Strong knowledge of Modern C++ standards (C++11 and above).
• 3+ years of Python experience.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Google Test or cppUnit.
• Test automation experience using Cucumber, Behave, or Gherkin.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with TCP/IP socket-level communications and networking.
• Proven ability to produce technical designs for software applications.
• Experience working within Agile development teams and using Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java or .NET.
• Background in retail, Point of Sale systems, or payment processors.
• Knowledge of cloud development, PCI compliance, and data encryption.
