Description

You will develop and maintain thick client Windows desktop applications and manage hardware interfacing.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build Windows desktop applications using C# .NET with a focus on thick client architecture.
• Interface with hardware by writing C# code for port mapping, USB driver management, and device communication.
• Implement a communication layer to translate C# code into C++ for execution on devices.
• Debug and troubleshoot software and hardware interaction issues through hands-on testing.
• Participate in Agile processes, including daily stand-ups and bi-weekly sprints.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in C# .NET Windows development.
• Deep understanding of the .NET Framework.
• Experience with backend development, including Windows services and data processing.
• Hands-on experience with device communication protocols, port mapping, and USB drivers.
• Proficiency in C++ for device-level execution.
• Strong debugging skills within hardware-connected environments.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Razor and Blazor for web development.
