Description

You will design, develop, and manage API-driven solutions using CA Layer 7 Gateway to support digital strategy and data enablement.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, configure, and debug application programs using CA Layer 7 to meet functional business requirements.
• Design APIs, data models, and data flow diagrams by translating business objectives into technical specifications.
• Manage project scope, estimations, issue tracking, and risk escalation in coordination with architects and COE.
• Perform verification and validation activities to ensure defect prevention and maintain work integrity.
• Collaborate with onsite, offshore, and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with CA Layer 7 Gateway development and configuration.
• Expertise in Java, Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, and micro-services architecture.
• Proficiency with JSON, REST, XML, WSDL, and SOA/ESB application integration.
• Strong understanding of UNIX operating systems and Shell Scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Oracle SQL Developer, and Postman.
• Competency in using SoapUI, Splunk, and Appdynamics.
• Experience with Swagger Editor and YAML for API design.
• Ability to demonstrate User Stories and work independently on a project basis.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in the Logistics domain.
• Prior experience integrating CA Site Minder with the CA API Gateway.
