Description

You will design mechanical components, test fixtures, and engine test rigs while managing CAD models and technical documentation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design engine test frames, lab endurance test fixtures, and engine test head rigs based on cross-functional requirements.
• Create complete BOMs, assemblies, and component CAD models and 2D drawings.
• Produce 2D drawings for assemblies and components using proper datum systems, GD&T, and design standards.
• Execute product design changes by updating CAD models and drawings to meet new requirements.
• Perform 1D and 2D tolerance stack-up studies at nominal and worst-case conditions to verify clearances and functions.

Required Skills

• 3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical design.
• Proficiency with CAD software and PDM systems.
• Knowledge of casting, sheet metal, machining processes, materials, and treatments.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and fit selections.
• Ability to check engineering drawings to ensure design intent is well-defined.
• Experience managing CAD models and 2D drawings.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Creo and Windchill.
