Description

You will develop wireless carrier-specific construction drawings for telecommunications towers using Computer Aided Drafting and Design.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction drawings including electrical layouts, site plans, customer installation drawings, and structural modification drawings.
• Operate AutoCAD to create unique detailing for steel, electrical, and civil engineering projects.
• Maintain drawing integrity by updating CAD files with revisions and applicable changes.
• Verify customer applications, equipment placement, and compound accuracy through cross-functional collaboration.
• Perform peer reviews of basic drawings and revise work based on engineer or customer instructions.

Required Skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2017 or higher.
• Experience with CAD Design and steel design.
• Ability to produce accurate site plans and construction drawings.
• Basic knowledge of structural components, construction, and general engineering concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an Associate degree in a related field with 1 year of experience in construction, engineering, or telecommunications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work queues.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced experience with Civil 3D, Inventor, or Infra Works.
• Experience with BIM software.
