Description

You will create and maintain technical drawings and 3D models for mechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain drawings and model parts and assemblies in AutoCAD and PTC Creo.
• Apply engineering drawing practices per ASME Y14.100, Y14.5, and Y14.41 to ensure manufacturability.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to implement design changes and update documentation.
• Manage drawing and model revisions, release workflows, and configuration control using PLM systems (Teamcenter).
• Support change control processes and generate supplier documentation packages as required.

Required Skills

• Minimum 4 years of CAD design/drawing experience in a mechanical or aerospace environment.
• Proven proficiency in AutoCAD and PTC Creo for parts and assemblies.
• Demonstrated experience applying ASME drawing practices and GD&T (ASME Y14.100, Y14.5, Y14.41).
• Hands-on experience with PLM/EDM systems for revision control and release workflows.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tolerancing, and assembly interference issues.
• Experience with MBD, DFM, DFA, DFMEA, and PFMEA.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple drawing deliverables simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills to interpret design requirements and clarify ambiguities.
• Bachelor's degree.
