Description
You will create and maintain technical drawings and 3D models for mechanical assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain drawings and model parts and assemblies in AutoCAD and PTC Creo.
- Apply engineering drawing practices per ASME Y14.100, Y14.5, and Y14.41 to ensure manufacturability.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to implement design changes and update documentation.
- Manage drawing and model revisions, release workflows, and configuration control using PLM systems (Teamcenter).
- Support change control processes and generate supplier documentation packages as required.
Required Skills
- Minimum 4 years of CAD design/drawing experience in a mechanical or aerospace environment.
- Proven proficiency in AutoCAD and PTC Creo for parts and assemblies.
- Demonstrated experience applying ASME drawing practices and GD&T (ASME Y14.100, Y14.5, Y14.41).
- Hands-on experience with PLM/EDM systems for revision control and release workflows.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tolerancing, and assembly interference issues.
- Experience with MBD, DFM, DFA, DFMEA, and PFMEA.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple drawing deliverables simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to interpret design requirements and clarify ambiguities.
- Bachelor's degree.
