Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and support custom CAD applications, configurations, and utilities using C++.
• Build and integrate APIs to enable CAD-related functionality and external system interactions.
• Automate repetitive modeling, assembly, and drafting tasks through workflow automation.
• Implement digital thread integrations to bridge CAD data with CFD applications for seamless information flow.
• Review CAD enhancement requests, evaluate system impacts, and troubleshoot issues in production environments.

Skills Required:

• 5 - 12 years of relevant experience in CAD application development and API-driven integrations.
• C++ for CAD application development and utility implementation.
• API development and integration for CAD application connectivity.
• Application development experience including design, coding, testing, and support.
• CAD domain experience with design controls and engineering design workflows.

Good to Have:

• Workflow automation experience.
• Threading and concurrency for performance-sensitive CAD utilities.
• Automation and scripting approaches for engineering efficiency.
• Digital thread / digital integration experience.
• API integration experience with engineering tools and downstream systems.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or related field
