Description

You will create 2D and 3D shop drawings, patterns, and templates for props and scenery in trade show booths, toy displays, television commercials, and photo shoots. You convert sketches into renderings and develop written or verbal information into CAD details and assembly drawings. You produce technical drawings to support fabrication in wood, metal, and model shops. You design preliminary drawings for miniature doll sets used in photo shoots.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D and 3D shop drawings for props and scenery.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Vectorworks (required).
• 5+ years of experience in CAD drafting.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Demonstrated basic design and layout skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in tradeshow design, set design, or engineering.
• Experience with shadowing techniques in design.
