Description

Create 2D and 3D shop drawings, renderings, and assembly details for props, scenery, and displays in trade shows, television, and photo shoots.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D and 3D shop drawings for props, scenery, and miniature doll sets.
• Convert sketches into renderings and develop CAD details and assembly drawings.
• Produce technical drawings to support fabrication in wood, metal, and model shops.
• Design preliminary drawings for miniature doll sets used in photo shoots.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in CAD drafting.
• Proficiency in Vectorworks.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated basic design and layout skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in tradeshow design, set design, or engineering.
• Experience with shadowing techniques in design.
