Description

You will develop detailed 3D solid and surface models to support machine in-process requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D solid and surface models based on specific machine requirements.
• Develop in-process work instructions and sketches for production associates.
• Conceptualize ideas into functional, working models.
• Interpret blueprints and technical publications to guide design work.
• Apply standard drafting practices to all work instructions and sketches.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in CAD modeling.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 and V6.
• Experience creating 3D solid and surface models.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical publications.
• Knowledge of machine shop practices and processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work directly with and take direction from engineering staff.
