Description

You will migrate the internal Sage-Grouse Habitat Quantification Tool from ArcGIS 10.5 to ArcGIS Pro and maintain geospatial infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Recreate the Habitat Quantification Tool (HQT) application in ArcGIS Pro using existing system manuals and user guides.
• Ensure new systems properly link to and interact with internal and external data sources.
• Coordinate beta testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and bug fixing.
• Update or write new system manuals, user guides, and database metadata.
• Manage geospatial databases, including digital data conversion and FGDC metadata completion.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with relational databases, client-server concepts, and website development.
• Expert knowledge of ESRI software including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Expert proficiency in JavaScript, ArcGIS API for JavaScript, and Python.
• Experience creating REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, and JSON services.
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with ArcSDEs databases in MS SQL Server 2012 or above.
• Experience developing GIS applications in web or desktop environments using Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Experience working with mobile applications and GPS units.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in cartography.
• Experience in complex spatial analysis for natural resource projects.
