Description

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Calypso Developer with strong expertise in Banking / Capital Markets and hands-on experience designing, developing, customizing, and supporting applications on the Calypso platform.
The ideal candidate should have strong Core Java, Calypso APIs, integration, SQL/PL-SQL, workflows, settlement, risk, reporting, and production support experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, customize, and maintain applications on the Calypso platform.
Develop Calypso customizations using Core Java and Calypso APIs.

Work across Calypso modules including:
Trade Capture
Workflow
Back Office
Settlement
Accounting
Risk
Reporting

Scheduled Tasks
Develop and maintain Calypso interfaces and integrations with internal and external banking systems.
Work with REST APIs, XML, FIX, SWIFT, MQ/JMS, and other messaging/integration technologies.
Configure and maintain Calypso static data, products, counterparties, accounts, workflows, and settlement instructions.
Develop and maintain Calypso Engines, Reports, Scheduled Tasks, Workflows, and BO Messages/Transfers.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Calypso technical solutions.
Write and optimize SQL/PL-SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
Participate in application design, development, unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and production deployment.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide timely technical resolutions.
