Description

You will own hands-on development and version upgrades within the Calypso platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Execute Calypso platform development and version upgrades.
• Translate technical designs into functional, workable software solutions.
• Design database schemas and write proficient SQL and stored procedures.
• Develop and manage batch scripts within Unix environments.
• Write technical documentation and maintain clear communication regarding system changes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Calypso and Calypso V16.
• Deep expertise in Java EE and the Spring Framework.
• Proficiency in SQL and database design.
• Experience with Unix environments and basic command line usage.
• Ability to write batch scripts using shell, perl, or python.
• Working knowledge of Jira.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Source Code Management tools like Git, Perforce, or CVS.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools including Jenkins and Sonar.
• Knowledge of financial technologies such as FpML and Swift protocols.
