Description

You will develop and maintain the Calypso platform through customization and version upgrades.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the platform using Calypso development, upgrades, and customization techniques.
• Design quality platform solutions and interfaces for various MSIM systems.
• Translate technical designs into functional, workable software solutions.
• Collaborate with traders, trade support, and operations to gather requirements and provide support.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Calypso platform development and version upgrades.
• Hands-on development experience with Java EE and the Spring Framework.
• Proficiency in database design, SQL, and creating stored procedures.
• Working knowledge of Unix environments and basic commands.
• Experience with batch scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or Python.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Source Code Management tools like Git, Perforce, or CVS.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Sonar, and Jira.
• Knowledge of financial technologies such as FpML and Swift protocol.
