Camera Lead Validation Engineer

Lead camera and depth characterization and design validation for consumer electronic products. You will execute system and functional level validation of camera use cases on hardware. Develop and manage test setups specifically for camera validation. Perform embedded testing through both automation scripting and manual testing. Apply image quality evaluation methodologies and optical metrology. Analyze sensor and camera module performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead camera and depth characterization and design validation for consumer electronic products.
• Execute system and functional level validation of camera use cases on hardware.
• Develop and manage test setups specifically for camera validation.
• Perform embedded testing through both automation scripting and manual testing.
• Analyze sensor and camera module performance using image quality evaluation methodologies.

Required Skills

• 18+ years of experience in camera and depth characterization.
• Expertise in Python with hands-on experience using pandas, numpy, and opencv.
• Proficiency in shell and batch scripting.
• Working knowledge of Android CE devices and adb commands.
• Strong understanding of core embedded system concepts including MCU, SoC, and Memory.
• Experience with Matlab and general optical metrology.
• Ability to work across both macOS and Windows operating systems.

Preferred Skills

• In-depth understanding of contemporary camera and depth signal processing pipelines.
• PhD in Optics or a related field.
