Description

You will own the end-to-end testing and evaluation of imaging systems and camera hardware.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform image capture and calibration using spectrometers, radiometers, and integration spheres.
• Build custom test setups and source optical imaging components to meet project requirements.
• Develop automation scripts to control test setups and facilitate testing procedures via GUI tools.
• Conduct data analysis and image processing, including feature detection and algorithm implementation.
• Propose new test metrics and optimize existing hardware and software test infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in image and video quality testing, metrics, and evaluation.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or C for developing test metric algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with camera hardware testing, sensor technology, and ISP blocks.
• Expertise in image processing techniques and computational photography features.
• Ability to design and implement image quality test infrastructure involving optomechanical components.
• Competence in operating laboratory systems, lab automation, and data collection.
• Experience with JMP and Excel for data analysis and technical presentations.
