Description

You will act as a top-level Tier 3 escalation engineer providing post-sales technical support for campus networking products and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer concerns regarding installation, operation, maintenance, and product compatibility.
• Troubleshoot hardware equipment and software application issues to recommend corrective actions.
• Recreate customer network issues within a dedicated lab environment.
• Document customer communications and recurring technical issues to assist product development and quality programs.
• Collaborate with software and hardware development teams to diagnose and communicate complex problems.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting wireless networking.
• Proficiency with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, RF fundamentals, and MIMO.
• Experience with wireless security protocols including WPA2, WPA3, and authentication frameworks like EAP, PEAP, and EAP-TLS.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols: DHCP, DNS, ACL, ARP, IPv4, IPv6, LACP, STP/RSTP/MST, and VLANs.
• Hands-on experience with 1G/10G Ethernet, MAC Learning, VxLAN, and EoGRE.
• Experience implementing and troubleshooting indoor and outdoor enterprise wireless deployments and guest access.
• Ability to triage and troubleshoot complex, dynamic customer environments.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, EC, EE, or a similar field.

Preferred Skills

• Wireless certifications such as CWNA, CWAP, or CWSP.
• Prior TAC experience.
• Experience with wired and wireless packet capture/analysis tools and Linux.
