Description

Design, develop, and optimize Big Data applications and microservices for scalable cloud solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain microservices using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Kafka.
• Develop Big Data pipelines with Java, Scala, Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Hive.
• Containerize and orchestrate services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues using Splunk and CloudWatch.
• Collaborate on code reviews, testing, and CI/CD deployment processes.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
• Strong understanding of microservices lifecycle and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Minimum 2+ years of experience coding in Scala.
• Proficiency in Python, Shell Scripting, and Apache Spark.
• Experience with Hadoop, Hive, and SQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk and CloudWatch.
• Background in delivering reliable data solutions in cloud environments.
