Description

You will manage and interpret complex datasets to support epidemiological research and public health initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data using established epidemiological methods and study designs.
• Assimilate large datasets to extract actionable information for public health reporting.
• Research and document findings to communicate insights to diverse stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects by prioritizing tasks and initiating corrective actions when problems arise.
• Collaborate with teams to support quality improvement initiatives and administrative processes.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in public health with a focus on data analysis or epidemiology.
• Strong knowledge of epidemiological methods and study design.
• Experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.
• Proven ability to interpret complex data and communicate it clearly to stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage program functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with registries, hospitalization, vital records, or BRFSS datasets.
• Proficiency in SAS, Excel, Tableau, or ArcGIS.
• Familiarity with organizational structures and quality improvement processes.
