Description

Analyze and compile cancer incidence, mortality, and survivorship data to monitor population health trends and identify disparities.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate primary and secondary data sources using epidemiologic strategies to interpret population trends.
• Transform, map, clean, and prepare complex datasets to support program needs.
• Develop and implement data collection and tracking tools while providing technical assistance to stakeholders.
• Prepare oral and written reports, communication tools, and economic evaluations for diverse audiences.
• Collaborate across programs to leverage data for strategies and participate in grant-related analysis.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in public health with a focus on data analysis or epidemiology.
• Strong knowledge of epidemiological methods, study design, and qualitative/quantitative data collection.
• Proficiency in SAS, Excel, Tableau, or ArcGIS.
• Experience with large datasets such as registries, hospitalization, vital records, or BRFSS.
• Ability to assimilate and interpret complex datasets for clear communication.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with organizational administrative processes and quality improvement initiatives.
