Description

You will own the operational lifecycle of Cassandra database platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage database operations, including incident response and alert resolution for production systems.
• Deploy and maintain database monitoring solutions across environments.
• Test and build comprehensive database restore and recovery procedures.
• Execute database platform deployment, patching, change management, and software upgrades.
• Provide operational support and technical analysis to support and delivery teams.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Cassandra administration (not architecture or design).
• 8-10 years of experience managing high-profile production database platforms.
• Extensive background with public cloud database deployment, management, and migration.
• Expertise in NoSQL database concepts and defining deployment standards.
• High level of experience managing change on hosted, on-premises, and cloud platforms.
• Expert in deploying high-availability database architecture.
• Proficiency with Cassandra, Linux, Gitlab, Terraform, and Datadog.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
