Description

You will manage and maintain a critical data platform powering online banking services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Handle performance tuning, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting for the Cassandra cluster.
• Configure and enable SSL and LDAP for secure access.
• Set up observability and monitoring alerts using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Take requirements from audit teams and update database configurations accordingly.
• Identify platform gaps and recommend Cassandra solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Cassandra DB.
• Proficiency with Ansible and AWX for operational pipelines.
• Knowledge of Jenkins pipelines for automation.
• Familiarity with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience ensuring database functionality meets security audit requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Cassandra development experience.
