Description

You will own the category P&L for the Super Category, driving growth in customer base, topline, bottomline, and NPS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual and monthly category plans at national and regional levels.
• Define assortment requirements and collaborate with Category Buyers to ensure product availability.
• Manage targeted promotions and campaigns, tracking daily performance to improve ROI.
• Build price benchmarking processes with Business Operations to maintain competitive pricing.
• Hire, train, and mentor a team across category planning, marketing, and management.

Required Skills

• 4-10 years of overall experience, including 3+ years in category or P&L management within e-commerce marketplaces.
• 2+ years of experience hiring and developing teams from top-tier institutions.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with large datasets.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use metrics and data to manage competing priorities.
• Experience working alongside product and technology teams.
• Ability to create scalable and repeatable category management processes.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• FMCG domain knowledge.

Preferred Skills

• Experience providing demand projections to reduce slow-moving inventory and liquidation losses.
• Willingness to conduct field visits to Kirana retailers.
