Description

You will provide technical support and perform radiological procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing diagnostic fluoroscopic angiographic procedures, coronary and peripheral interventions, and Electrophysiology procedures.
• Monitor patient condition pre- and post-procedure, reporting changes to the physician or RN.
• Operate equipment according to procedure protocols and assist physicians during all Cath Lab procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and pull contrast media as required.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, manage laboratory supplies, and implement Q.I. programs.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• ARRT registration with CI credentials, OR RCIS, OR RCES (CCI), OR CEPS (IBHRE).
• BLS AHA certification.
• Proficiency in CRT and Fluoroscopy.
• Graduate of a CAHEP accredited CVT program or completion of a 2-year AMA-approved Radiologic Technology training program.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and emergency CPR measures.

Preferred Skills

• RCIS, CI, IBHRE credentials.
