Description

Develop and maintain device drivers and embedded software for Linux and Windows platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Linux kernel modules and Windows drivers (WDF) for embedded hardware.
• Debug and optimize kernel-level code for performance, stability, and memory management.
• Integrate device drivers with operating systems and validate functionality using GDB and WinDbg.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless driver integration and support QA activities.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for software components and testing procedures.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience with Linux kernel development.
• Experience with Windows driver frameworks (WDF) and device driver models.
• Knowledge of communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, PCIe) and interrupt handling.
• Proficiency with cross-compilation, build systems (Make, CMake), and debugging tools.
• Understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and multi-threaded programming.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
