Description

You will design, build, and maintain the operating system for embedded systems, owning the full stack from drivers to frameworks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement system components across all layers, from low-level drivers to high-level frameworks.
• Debug complex, system-level issues spanning the kernel to application layers.
• Profile performance and drive optimizations across the entire software stack.
• Bring up new hardware devices, performing debugging and performance tuning.
• Integrate software components from partner teams into the unified product codebase.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems software development.
• Proficiency in C/C++.
• Experience with AOSP or Embedded Linux development.
• Experience working on systems software within large-scale C/C++ codebases.
• Familiarity with operating systems internals and framework services.
• Experience with Android SDK, NDK, and JNI.
• Experience with software development processes, including source control, unit tests, bug tracking, and design documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with device bring up and Linux kernel customization.
• Experience with Android or Linux performance tools and security models.
