Description

You will lead the modernization of a critical application by migrating it from legacy Solaris 10 environments to modern RHEL 9.4 systems, upgrading the codebase from C to C++20.

Responsibilities

• Lead the re-platforming effort from Solaris 10 to RHEL 9.4.
• Upgrade the existing codebase from C to C++20.
• Enhance application performance and security features during the migration.
• Implement modern development and deployment practices.
• Maintain technical documentation regarding configurations and migration changes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application modernization.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++20.
• Proven experience with OS migrations (Solaris to RHEL).
• Experience working with Solaris and RHEL environments.
• Expertise in troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with scripting languages such as bash or Korn shell.
