Description

You will build and deliver high-volume, scalable applications using Java and Python.

Responsibilities

• Build stream-processing systems using Apache Storm and Spark.
• Write optimal multi-threaded applications.
• Develop RESTful web services using JSON, MessagePack, or Protocol Buffers.
• Perform text processing using perl, awk, or sed within a Linux environment.
• Troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in application development.
• Core knowledge of Java and Servlets.
• Proficiency in Python scripting.
• Experience with RDBMS including MySQL or Postgres.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, HDFS, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with streaming platforms like Apache Kafka, Apache Storm, or Apache Spark.
• Strong Linux background and text processing skills.
• Experience with RESTful web service standards.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Golang.
• Experience working with CDP Platforms.
